Restoring Backups

VDO Panel lets you restore local, remote, and manual backups anytime. You also have the option to restore backup of either selected or all Broadcaster accounts.

To restore backup:

  1. From the left pane, click Backup and Transfer to expand it.
    The following sub-sections display:

    1. Backup Configuration

    2. Backup Scheduling Status

    3. Restore Backup

    4. Manually Backup

    5. Transfer Tool

  1. Click Restore Backup.
    The Restore Backup area displays.

Restoring Local Backup

To restore local backup:

  1. In Restore Backup area, click Restore Local Backup.
    The lists of the daily and weekly backups display.

     

  2. From the daily or weekly backups list, check the broadcaster name whose backup you want to restore.

    or

    Check the Username at the top to restore backup for all broadcasters.

     

  3. After selecting the desired users, click Restore Daily Local Backup to restore the daily backup. Similarly, to restore the weekly backup, click Restore Weekly Local Backup.



     

Restoring Remote Backup

To restore the remote backup:

  1. In Restore Backup area, click Restore Remote Backup Config.
    The lists of the daily and weekly backups display.

     

  2. From the daily or weekly backups list, check the broadcaster name whose backup you want to restore.

    or

    Check the Username at the top to restore backup for all broadcasters.

     

  3. After selecting the desired users, click Restore Daily Remote Backup to restore the daily backup. Similarly, to restore the weekly backup, click Restore Weekly Remote Backup.
     

Restoring Manual Backup

To restore the manual backup:

  1. In Restore Backup area, click Restore Manually Backup Config.
     

  2. Check the Broadcaster name whose backup you want to restore.

    or

    Check Username at the top to restore backup for all users.

  3. Click Restore Manuall Backup.
    The manual backup will be restored for the selected broadcaster accounts.

Once the backup restoration process is completed, you can view the following statistics related to the last restored backup:

  • Date: The date and time when the last backup was restored.

  • Status: The status of the last restored backup.

Preview Progress and Log: Lets you view the log file related to the last restored backup.
