Configuring Backup

To take local and remote backup, you first need to perform certain configurations:
To do so:

From the left pane, click Backup and Transfer to expand it.

Click Backup Configuration.
The following local and remote backup configurations display:
Local Backup ConfigurationsTo perform the local backup configurations:

Click Local Backup Config under Backup Configuration section and specify the following parameters:
Parameter
Description
Enable/Disable
Enable this option to take local backup of Broadcaster accounts. By default, it is disabled.
Daily Backup
Enable this option to take local backup of Broadcaster accounts on a daily basis. By default, it is disabled.
NOTE: When daily backup is enabled, then local backup will be taken at 2 AM everyday.
Weekly Backup
Enable this option to take local backup of Broadcaster accounts on weekly basis. By default, it is disabled.
NOTE: When weekly backup is enabled, then local backup will be taken at 2 AM every Sunday..

After specifying the above parameters, click Update.
Remote Backup ConfigurationsTo perform the remote backup configurations:

Click Remote Backup Config under Backup Configuration section and specify the following parameters:
Parameter
Description
Enable/Disable
Enable this option to take remote backup of Broadcaster accounts. By default, it is disabled.
Daily Backup
Enable this option to take remote backup of Broadcaster accounts on a daily basis. By default, it is disabled.
Note: When daily backup is enabled, then remote backup will be taken at 2 AM everyday.
Weekly Backup
Enable this option to take remote backup of Broadcaster accounts on a weekly basis. By default, it is disabled.

Remote Host
Specify the name/address of the remote server where backup will be taken. The remote address should not include “http //”, “https //”, a trailing port, or path information.
Port
Specify the port number of the remote server.
Remote User
Specify the user name used to log in to the specified remote server.
Remote Password
Specify the valid password for the above specified remote user name.
Remote Path
Specify the full destination path where backup will be taken on the remote server. For example, root/backup.
After specifying the above parameters, click Update.
If you want to test the connection with the specified remote server, click Test Remote Server Connection before Update. -
